A Family Story Behind Every Name

Thema Home Care began when founder Justin Currie was noticing his grandmother, Germaine, struggling with her normal daily living activities. Typical house chores, like cooking and doing laundry, became more difficult, as well as personal hygiene routines.

Justin decided to look for a caregiver, providing Germaine and his family with the best of both worlds: their grandmother could remain in her home, yet their worries could ease knowing she was receiving the right assistance.

Why the name 'Thema'? 'Thema' was created as a tribute to Justin's two grandmothers, Thelma and Germaine. 'The' comes from Thelma, and 'ma' comes from Germaine. Their love, strength, and legacy remind us every day why we are committed to providing exceptional care, because families depend on us.
